Pricing, Quotes and Deals for Used RF Test Equipment in Europe

Looking for a price on a specific model? Our pricing, quotes and deals page publishes indicative price ranges and lists current clearance stock below. For a firm quote on any model, therefore, email us with the model, quantity, and calibration preference.
Why Pricing, Quotes and Deals Vary for Used RF Equipment
There is no single “market price” for pre-owned RF instruments. Five factors, instead, drive every quote we issue:
- OEM brand and model generation — for example, a current-production Keysight N5172B EXG vector signal generator holds value differently than a legacy Agilent E4421 ESG with comparable output range.
- Frequency range and installed options — An R&S SMBV100A covering 9 kHz – 3.2 GHz costs measurably less than the 6 GHz variant of the same platform. Every licensed software option, in addition, adds to the price.
- Calibration status — Units shipped with a fresh ILAC-traceable calibration certificate carry a premium over “as-is” instruments. That premium, specifically, is typically 8–15 % of the unit price.
- Warranty length — We offer 6- or 12-month warranties. Longer coverage adjusts the quote upward, but, in return, protects the investment.
- Cosmetic grade — Rack-mounted instruments with minor panel wear cost less than units in near-mint condition. Measurement performance, however, is identical after recalibration.
New vs. Used: The Cost-Saving Math
Buying certified pre-owned RF equipment typically saves 40–70 % compared to OEM list price. For example, here are real-category examples from our current stock:
- Spectrum analysers — A new mid-range analyser lists around €25,000–€45,000. Equivalent used units with 12-month warranty, by contrast, start from approximately €9,000–€18,000.
- Vector network analysers — New VNAs in the 6–9 GHz range often exceed €30,000. Pre-owned Agilent PNA-series models (E8357A at 6 GHz, E8358A at 9 GHz), however, are available from roughly €7,000–€15,000.
- Signal generators — A new R&S SMBV100A (6 GHz) lists above €20,000. Certified pre-owned units from our stock, meanwhile, start at approximately €6,500–€10,000 depending on installed options.
Same measurement performance. Same traceable calibration. Just a fraction of the cost. As a result, the savings fund additional probes, accessories, or a second unit for redundancy.
Indicative Price Ranges by Equipment Category

Why European Buyers Choose RF Labs
EU-Based Warehouse — No Import Duties
All equipment ships from within the European Union. For EU-27 buyers, therefore, that means zero customs duties and no import VAT complications. Typical delivery is 3–5 business days to most European destinations, and UK and EEA shipments, meanwhile, are handled with pre-arranged export documentation.
Every Unit Tested and Calibrated
We functionally verify instruments against manufacturer specifications before listing. Calibration, in turn, is performed to ILAC-traceable standards. Each unit ships with a detailed test report and, when selected, a calibration certificate.
